All about the Parenzana train
The tourist train tour is known as the Route of Veli Jože, and it was named after a giant who, as the legend says, used to serve the residents of the medieval town of Motovun a long time ago. The Parenzana train will take you through the tunnels and viaducts along the route of historical narrow railroad Parenzana. Apart from riding through Istrian landscape and visiting magnificent places of central Istria, you will be offered tastings of local dishes and beverages.
